As a visual artist my work seeks to preserve Black narratives as a radical act of social justice. As an artist-activist, I intentionally push back against erasure, displacement, misrepresentation and marginalization by reclaiming cultural histories in communities affected by gentrification. Through collaborations with financial partners, Operation HOPE, a global financial dignity and economic empowerment nonprofit headquartered in Atlanta, offers resources and education on credit and money management to the metro Atlanta community through no-cost workshops and one-on-one credit counseling services.
